This Privacy Policy describes how Tribe 1 Technologies LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operating under the brand Ghostt AI, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit ghosttai.com, purchase or use any Ghostt AI app or service, or interact with our license server.

This policy covers all current and future products distributed under the Ghostt AI brand, including ZeroBurn and any other apps we release for OpenClaw and compatible AI agent frameworks.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not access ghosttai.com or use our products.

1. Who We Are

Ghostt AI is a product line operated by Tribe 1 Technologies LLC, a US-based limited liability company located in Saint Louis, Missouri.

We make premium apps and toolkits for OpenClaw and compatible AI agent frameworks. Our products are designed to be local-first: they install and run on the user's own machine, and they only communicate with our servers as needed for license validation, software updates, and optional telemetry.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • The Ghostt AI website at ghosttai.com and its subdomains
  • All Ghostt AI apps, including ZeroBurn and any future products we release under the Ghostt AI brand
  • The license server at license.ghosttai.com, which validates installations across all our apps
  • Communications you have with us via email or other channels

Each Ghostt AI app may have an End User License Agreement specific to that product. This Privacy Policy applies in addition to the relevant EULA.

3. Information We Collect

We collect three categories of information: information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information collected by our apps after installation.

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you purchase a Ghostt AI app or contact us, we collect:

  • Email address (required for license delivery and account communication)
  • Name (if voluntarily provided in support requests)
  • Payment information— processed entirely by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers
  • Communications you send us via email or other channels

3.2 Information Collected Automatically When You Visit Our Website

When you visit ghosttai.com, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Referring URL

This information is collected for site analytics and security purposes. It is not used to build advertising profiles or sold to third parties.

3.3 Information Collected by Our Apps

When a Ghostt AI app is installed and running on your machine, the app communicates with our license server. The following information is transmitted:

  • License key— to verify your purchase is valid
  • Machine identifier— a one-way hashed value derived from your hardware; it cannot be reversed to identify your specific machine or person
  • App version number— to determine compatibility and recommend updates
  • Validation timestamps— to enforce subscription periods where applicable

Our apps do NOT transmit:

  • The content of your AI model requests
  • The content of model responses
  • Your API keys for Anthropic, OpenAI, or other providers
  • Files on your computer
  • Personal documents, code, or other work product

Specific apps may collect additional product-specific information necessary for their functionality. Any such collection is described in the app's documentation or in this policy.

3.4 Optional Telemetry (With Your Consent)

On first run, our apps ask for your explicit consent before enabling either of the following. Both are off by default. You can change these choices at any time using the app's telemetry command (for example, zeroburn telemetry).

Error reports: If enabled, the app sends anonymized crash logs and stack traces to our error tracking service when something goes wrong. These reports include the error type and software state at the time of the crash, but exclude personal information, API keys, request content, and file paths containing your username.

Usage analytics: If enabled, the app sends anonymized event data about which features you use. This data is tied to an anonymous install identifier, not to your email or identity. It includes no content from your requests, responses, or files.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver your app licenses and provide the software you purchased
  • Validate licenses and enforce subscription terms
  • Respond to your support requests and communications
  • Fix bugs and improve our apps (with your telemetry consent)
  • Send you transactional emails related to your purchase, license, or account
  • Notify you about updates, new releases, or important changes to apps you have purchased
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of our software

We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your information.

5. How We Share Your Information

We share information only with the following categories of third parties, and only as needed to operate our service:

5.1 Service Providers

  • Stripe— payment processing. Stripe receives your payment information directly; we receive a confirmation of payment but not your card details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Error tracking and analytics providers— used only if you have opted in to telemetry. We will name the specific providers in the consent prompt at the time you are asked.
  • Hosting providers— we use standard cloud infrastructure to host ghosttai.com and license.ghosttai.com. These providers process data only as necessary to deliver the service.

5.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or if necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tribe 1 Technologies LLC, our customers, or others.

5.3 Business Transfers

If we are acquired, merged, or sell substantially all our assets, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use a minimal number of cookies on ghosttai.com:

  • Essential cookies that are required for the site to function (session management, security)
  • Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not participate in cross-site tracking.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site functionality may not work correctly without them.

Our apps themselves do not use cookies or browser-based tracking of any kind.

7. Data Retention

We retain different categories of information for different periods:

  • License records (email, license key, purchase date): retained for the life of the license, plus 3 years after expiration or termination, for legal and tax record purposes
  • Payment records: retained as required by US tax law, typically 7 years
  • Support communications: retained for 2 years after the most recent interaction
  • Website analytics: aggregated, retained indefinitely; individual IP addresses retained for 90 days
  • Error reports and usage telemetry (if enabled): retained for 1 year, then deleted or aggregated

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9), subject to our legal retention obligations.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information:

  • Communications between our apps and our license server are encrypted via HTTPS
  • Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers
  • The machine identifier collected by our apps is a one-way hash that cannot be reversed
  • Access to our databases is restricted and logged

No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access— request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction— request that we correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion— request that we delete your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations
  • Portability— request your information in a portable format
  • Opt-out— disable telemetry at any time using your app's telemetry command

9.1 California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

9.2 European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the rights listed above and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address in Section 13. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

Ghostt AI apps are intended for adult developers and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. International Users

Tribe 1 Technologies LLC is based in the United States. If you access our website or use our apps from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via email to active customers or through a prominent notice on ghosttai.com.

Your continued use of any Ghostt AI app or ghosttai.com after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
